Joy’s Hope Siberians is a small, home  based Cattery and breeder located in the Tidewater area of Virginia (Near Newport News, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Richmond and the Hampton Roads Area). We are a multigenerational family including 3 generations of women who have always had and loved cats. This family has had many varieties of cats and kittens over the years from feral cats born in the woods to pedigreed Himalayans. Several years ago we started talking about a "special" kitten for Joy, my granddaughter who was 2 at the time.

Initially, we thought about a Maine Coon kitten and then by chance found some catteries specializing in Siberians. After reading about and seeing countless pictures of these beautiful creatures our hearts were set on having one for our baby Joy who of course was no baby by that time. After months of waiting we went to see a litter of Siberians and reserved an adorable silver tortie with white female from Chimney House Cattery. Maya, became an official part of our family on December 14, 2002. At that time we asked about future litters and made it known that we would be back for another kitten. Our next beauty came to us on July 12, 2003. Tessa, another female is a blue smoke & peach tortie with white. It was about this time that we decided, 2 Siberians would never be enough and we wanted to breed these wonderful cats, so others could share in the love they have given to our family.

Breeding Siberian Cats has been a lifelong dream of mine which is now coming true, thanks to the wonderful mentors who have helped me along the way. No amount of "thanks" could ever express my gratitude for all their time and patience.

The philosophy of Joy’s Hope is love. We love our Siberians as full fledged members of our family and strive for a well balanced life for all of us. Our Siberian Cats and Siberian Kittens are underfoot, in our beds, helping with chores and totally involved in all our activities. They are never caged and have free run of the house. Their diet consists of high grade canned and dry food supplemented with raw. Our goal is to breed naturally healthy, strong and well socialized kittens. Kittens that will fit right into your family as they have to ours!
